Mountain Rose Herbs Herbal Coffee

I started drinking coffee in eighth grade. Very early, I know. I needed something to help me get through the day when I was adjusting to my epilepsy medication, so I turned to coffee. It was my saving grace for years. I didn't only drink it because it would help me stay alert, but I developed an obsession with the taste.

Flash forward six years when I starting addressing some gut issues and hormone imbalances that had been causing me undesirable symptoms. I replaced my coffee cravings with their organic Herbal Coffee, which I know sounds strange. It contains dandelion, chicory, carob, and maca. That list probably freaked you out... yes eating dandelion (the weed) is good for you; it aids in liver detoxification. Maca is a Peruvian root that's ground down into a powder and taken as a supplement, is full of vitamins and minerals that help boost energy, libido, stabilize you're mood, and balance hormones. This tea tastes exactly like coffee. It's deep, earthy, slightly chocolatey with just a hint of bitterness. It's great with a little almond milk or cashew cream, and it's guaranteed to satisfy your coffee cravings.
